When I first began working out with Rosa in July 2002, I
thought surely this woman was going to kill me. I had never
lifted weights before (well, at least not properly). I had
never run a mile. I couldn�t do a single push-up. And thanks
to the birth of my daughter 7 months before, I could no
longer even do a sit-up. To be honest, I was depressed about
the state of my body AND my level of fitness. I knew that my
life had to change. One night I called Rosa and told her
that I needed help. She told me to meet her at the gym the
next morning at 5am. The next thing I knew I was up to my
elbows in exercise and there was nothing I could do about
it.
After only one week, I could already see results. My face looked
thinner, my jeans no longer felt tight, and I looked forward to getting
up in the morning to meet Rosa at the gym. Six weeks later, I was in a
size 10 down from a size 14 (and the size 10 was even loose!). I lost 25
pounds and 16 � inches! While my time was a little weak, I was running 2
miles without stopping! Push-ups and situps? No problem. I felt great. I
felt empowered. Rosa helped me take control of my health.
Rosa is knowledgeable. She will teach you how to use equipment
properly, target trouble spots, and design a program to help you reach
your goals. Rosa will motivate you. She will push you to do just a

I first met Rosa at Fitness Camp with Mike Davies. I was
impressed with how awesome she looked. When she told me she
was 35 with 2 kids my jaw hit the floor. She is obviously
doing everything right because she looks absolutely amazing
and at least 10 years younger. She and I worked as partners
during the camp and she was a joy to work with. She
motivates you to work hard and teaches you to hold correct
form. Rosa is very knowledgeable about using correct
technique that work the body effectively and efficiently.
She brings knowledge, experience, a nurturing spirit and

Rosa's Boot Camp has been one of the best things to ever
happen to me. I've been overweight and out of shape for a
long time. I have tried all kinds of diets and have even
gone the personal trainer route. Nothing helped me, I was
never able to stick to it or see results. I joined the boot
camp several months ago and have been a faithful camper ever
since. Rosa not only gives you a workout that your body
needs, but provides you with both mental and nutritional
support as well. The encouragement from her has kept me
focused. Her nutritional advice has been key to eating

I can't tell you how much I enjoy Boot Camp and how much
better I feel. You are so knowledgeable, encouraging, and
motivating. I am also impressed by how you change things up
each day, making our workouts interesting and helping us
with a total body workout. Thanks for everything you've done

back in shape. I've tried personal trainers and gyms without

enjoying the work out very much. I'm sore, but it is fun,
you always have us doing different things (which is good,

What I took away from Boot Camp was a real lesson in
working out. I learned the difference between just getting
exercise and really working out. I learned how to push
myself and what I was capable of. I learned how to work
through a cardio workout and maintain stamina by breathing
correctly, resulting in 4 minutes off my run time. I really
enjoyed the whole experience.....I feel like I've made some
great progress and want to keep going! Thanks so much for
everything, I can tell a difference in my fitness level from
the first week to this 4th week. This has been a great

You have an amazing thing going....really no suggestions for
improvements. Specifically the things I love: The variety of
exercise, keeps it from getting too routine and therefore
boring. (Although, if you lost "star jumpers" and "sitting" on
the wall, I can't say I would miss them!) ;) You have just the
right touch as far as how and when you push us. Your
ability to give individual attention (particularly when we are
using the weights) so that we can learn the proper technique. I
feel grat. I feel stronger! I LOVE starting my day this way, it
definately sets the tone for the day...Thank YOU!

I desperately needed a jump start. Even though it was tough
getting going in the morning it really improved my day. I
was finally tired from doing something instead of of just

I didn't think that I would like working out at 5:30am -
but I ended up loving it. Just when you think that you can't
get up that early anymore, you want to get up. Camp is so
much fun, different every day, and seeing the results -
these are the things that made me get up even before the
alarm clock went off. Being outside able to run all over the
place, set up in different areas each day, and totally do
different activities each day make camp all the more fun.
The results from camp are more energy, less weight, fewer
inches, and most importantly feeling that I have
accomplished a lot. I joined up for another month, crazy -
no, just want to continue to look and feel better. Thanks

I tried out the Free Boot Camp this morning and had a great

hard, but worth the effort it took to get up at 4:45am! I'm

I just wanted to take a minute & thank you for the motivation
you give to everyone in the Boot Camp. Not only does it help the
actual participant, but in my case it has helped my husband too.
Since I started Boot Camp in May. My husband has lost 20.5 lbs &
feels better than he has in years. I can honestly say that Rosa,
you are the reason he has made a change. I am on the Boot Camp
meal plan, and I fix his food for breakfast, lunch & dinner
according to the weekly plan. In the past my husband would cheat
on every diet, his weakness is sweets. He has told me that since
he started the meal plan that he doesn't feel the need to snack.
He is satisfied with snacks outlined in the plan. Thank you
ROSA!!! I no longer worry about his health. P.S. Your workouts
rock!! I know I am busting it when my t-shirt has more water in
it than my water bottle!

I also love your instruction style...you know when to push us and when to
